Show Me the Money

Requirements

Bike For Boys & Girls Club is not only miles of fun, but it also raises funds to steer Dane County kids—especially those from disadvantaged circumstances—in a positive direction.

Each mile ridden translates into mentoring, skills programs and leadership training for the kids served by the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. While no entry fees are collected, in order to participate in the ride you will be required to pay a down payment, and your pledge amount must meet the minimum set.

Minimum Pledges

Individual Riders

$75, $25 down payment

Children (under 12 years)

$50, $25 down payment

Team Riders

Teams with 1–6 Riders: Collectively raise $1,500.
Teams with 7 or more: Collectively raise $250 times the number of people on the team.

Individual amounts will apply to gift certificate levels.

There is no fee, only a $50 deposit. This is non-refundable but DOES count towards your amount raised.

Each rider on a team recieves:

  • Bike For Boys & Girls Club rider T-shirt
  • Bike For Boys & Girls Club water bottle
  • Rider Goodie Bag with coupons and gifts from local companies
  • Bike For Boys & Girls Club Jersey with your Team Logo on it!

Riders are responsible for collecting the pledge money. Please make checks payable to “Bike For Boys & Girls Club”. Online registrants can also direct supporters to pledge online by credit card.

Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the ride and post-ride party.

On ride day, bring a completed copy of your official pledge form showing you’ve met the minimum pledge requirement and the pledge money you’ve collected. If not, keep one copy so you know from whom to collect pledge money. Continue to raise pledges for up to four weeks after the ride to win prizes from TREK. Prize certificates will be mailed to you after the event and when all your pledges are paid.
